The very much awaited iPhone 11 pro has been recently announced by Apple. The hype is here and the fandom is really excited, the numbers predict that one-third of actual active devices will migrate to the new iPhone generation.
The question is: “Is it really worth it ?”. The answer depends on many factors, we prefer to list the top 5 reasons why NOT to buy an iPhone 11 pro.
1/ Don’t forget that there is an “iPhone 11” (the “not pro” version)
Indeed, it’s a marketing strategy. We always spot the light on the “top of the line” phones of the same generation, as a result, the “normal” devices appear unworthy.
That’s a very wrong idea. There’s around 300$ between the iPhone 11 and the iPhone 11 pro, while both of them have the exact same processor. iPhone 11 has a very decent-sized screen and many other features that make it a wonderful device to have.
2/ The design, it’s always about the design
believe it or not, it’s also a marketing strategy. One of the reasons people buy iPhones is that they want people to know that they have an iPhone! Apple knows that, so it helps get the ego satisfaction you’re looking for.
The iPhone 11 pro design is “distinguishable”. Not pretty, but “distinguishable”.
Everybody will know that you bought the brand new iPhone 11 pro, but unfortunately, it doesn’t mean that it’s a well-designed device.
